The Obstetrics and Gynaecology Department at Sri Kumaran Hospital was established in 2012 with the aim of offering women quality medical care and support at every stage of their lives. It is the second largest OB-Gyn facility in Trichy with 150 exclusive beds and round-the-clock attention.

The department is self-sufficient and fully equipped with a central ICU, blood bank, high-dependency units (HDU), fertility clinic, family welfare clinic, neonatal unit, adolescent gynaecology unit, cancer detection clinic, menopause clinic and uro–gynaec clinic.
